TP-Link AC1200 Wireless Access Point EAP225-Outdoor

The TP-Link AC1200 Wireless Access Point EAP225-Outdoor brings dependable Wi-Fi to yards, patios, parks, and warehouses. Its weatherproof body shrugs off rain and dust. Moreover, dual-band speeds keep many devices connected at once. As a result, outdoor networks finally match the quality of indoor ones.

Take Your Wireless Network Outside

Indoor access points rarely survive weather exposure. Consequently, outdoor areas often suffer from weak or missing coverage. This unit fixes that problem with a rugged, sealed enclosure. It also works indoors, so one model fits many sites. Build a stronger setup with our Networking products.

Features of the TP-Link AC1200 Wireless Access Point

This model delivers 300Mbps on 2.4GHz and 867Mbps on 5GHz. Furthermore, 2×2 MU-MIMO lets it serve several devices together. TP-Link lists omnidirectional coverage of up to 300 metres in open outdoor settings. Actual range varies with obstacles and conditions.

Weatherproof and Lightning Protected

The enclosure meets the IP65 rating defined under IEC standards. Additionally, 6kV lightning protection shields the electronics during storms. Therefore, the included kits let you mount it on walls or poles.

Flexible Power and Cloud Control

The unit accepts 802.3af PoE or the included passive PoE injector. As a result, one gigabit Ethernet cable carries both data and power. Meanwhile, the Omada app and cloud tools manage the network remotely. Seamless roaming also keeps video calls steady as people move.
